Music and Dance Society (MAD) first started in 1974 with contemporary dance before diversifying to include other dance genres. At present, it comprises 3 divisions, namely Modern, Hip-hop, and Bboy (or breakdance).

Bboy Open Classes

Bboy Open Class #1

Date: Tuesday, 15th February

Time: 5.00pm – 7.00pm

Venue: Dance Studio, SALT Centre


Bboy Open Class #2

Date: Tuesday, 22nd February

Time: 5.00pm – 7.00pm

Venue: Dance Studio, SALT Centre




Bboy Auditions

Date: Wednesday, 23rd February

Time: 3.00pm – 5.00pm

Venue: To be confirmed

Hiphop Auditions

There will be two rounds of auditions

Date: Saturday, 19th February

Time: 12.30pm – 6.00pm*

Venue: RUA, Room under Auditorium.


NOTE

· You need to pass two rounds of auditions to join hiphop

· There will not be open classes for hiphop.

*You will not be required to stay for the full duration. For those who have indicated interest during CCA orientation, we will release a schedule for your auditions. If you’d like to audition even though you did not indicate your interest then, do contact us asap! :D More details of the schedule will be released here by 16th Feb
