Designs for the MAD T-shirt for next year is officially open to everyone!
Kindly submit your designs to hwachongmad@gmail.com!
We wont tell you the deadline for submission for now,
It will be a secret! ;P

One thing to note for the design,
There must be a hwa chong logo in it!
School requirement for a school shirt. =/

So hurry up and start designing!
We will be posting up the designs after the deadline on the blog.
And then you guys will be voting!

So, once again here are updates for dance night 2009!

Recruitment of choreographers (for 4 items)

So for now, there are 4 items which need the help from all of you guys. For those who are interested in choreographing or just wanting to contribute some ideas based on the theme (let's not disclose it on the blog yet) :D

MAD Fusion - Hui Hua
J2 Bboy - Si Quan
J2 Hiphop - Paopao
J1/J2 Modern - Aileen

(We will acknowledge you on the prog booklet! i hope :/)

If you're keen to help out with any item, please contact the respective item I/C anytime from 23rd to 29th Dec. Item I/Cs need to confirm the list of choreographers by 29th Dec, so we know who to chase after when the time comes (:


Songs/Music/Sounds Compilation Drive

We are compiling a library of songs, music and tracks for Dance Night 09. And they will be used as the sound library for dance night 09. If you think you got any tracks, music or interesting sounds that can be useful for dance night next year, please contact Jonneo or Huihua by email, msn, phone or anything okay.

Anything from r&b hiphop tracks to random gunshots to background walking noises is welcomed (:

Don't worry if the tracks may not be suitable, just contribute first then we will be sorting them out into various categories for every item. Please contribute, 'cause you never know some of us might have never heard the tracks you guys are listening to everyday. So this is really a group effort by everyone. The compilation drive will end on 31 Dec, so please help! (:

hello all! MAD dance camp is coming up! details as follows:-

Date: 22nd, 23rd December 2008
Duration: 0745hrs - 2000hrs on 22nd, 0745hrs - 2130hrs on 23rd
venue: SALT Centre (report at foyer)
reporting time: 0740 on 22nd, 0830 on 23rd
interesting activities: games, sessions for all 3 divisions, and a x'mas party!
things to bring:
- a gift for gift exchange! from $5 onwards please!(haha)
- change of clothes for wet games!(bring along bathing accessories if you want to wash up!)
- bring tights if you have!
- observe school rules! wear covered shoes and school-based tees only!
- no fbts and shorts for all sessions.(guys included!)longs only!

- you may want to bring sneakers for the bboy session!
- you may want to bring speakers to play music LOUDLY! we are playing songs through handphone, for day 1 especially!

To seniors: ALL seniors are invited back for the party! (please bring a gift too if you want to exchange gifts! xD) be there by 1730hrs on the 23rd!
***NOTE*** no food catered! seniors, please take care of your own dinner!
