I apologise for the miscommunication regarding Shah's session tomorrow. Please take note that it is open for all hip hoppers. Compulsory for 1st division hip hoppers and optional for 2nd division hip hoppers.

Please assemble at 2.30 pm at RUA, Shah will come down at 3 pm. The session will last for 2 hours. 1st division hip hoppers please sms me or Bong if you can't make it with valid reasons.

Hip Hop Taipei Workshop updates. So far we have 12 people who signed up for it. The most updated timings are:

22nd & 23rd March: 11am -1pm
24th to 26th March: 6.15pm - 8.15pm

Since we have more than 10 people, the organisers allow us to have the instructor all on our own. The instructor has quite a good reputation in Taiwan, with 11 years of experience, performed with 5566, F4, and various other celebrities.

It'll most likely be held at SALT or RUA. Registration is open until 7th March, please sms me (Si Jin) if you want, it costs $16.30 per hour, total 10 hours.

CHINGAY FRIDAY

IMPT PLEASE READ

Please bare with me for this extremely long post.

Firstly, and most importantly YOU ARE RELEASED AT 1PM NOT 1230PM so please don't ask to leave at 1230, our teachers will get into trouble.

Helen and I had passed the message earlier to meet at salt at one. Since we are only released at 1pm, it is kinda impossible. So the second most important thing PLEASE RUSH TO SALT IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOUR LESSON ENDS. BE THERE BY 115PM LATEST!

i know this means that you wouldn't have any time to have lunch. so i have thought of two alternatives:
  • Eat until you are so full you can't move during your break (you def will have break right?)
  • I will buy food for you (because i end school at 1230pm)

so if you want me to get food for you, leave a comment (i will check the comments tmr morning at 6am latest) or simply sms me by 12pm. Taking orders from school canteen/ coro/ poolside.

We need you to rush so much not because we are very mean, but because we are running on an extremely extremely tight schedule. AS WE HAVE TO DO ANOTHER REHEARSAL DURING THE TIME WE WERE SUPPOSED TO DO OUR MAKE UP

So here is the tentative schedule for tomorrow:
    1-2 HAIR AND FOUNDATION
2 Board the bus (you can also do your makeup or hair on the bus)
230 Reach PA and take costumes and do your make up
    300 or 330 Rehearsal
After the rehearsal Continue your makeup/ costume/ hair/ leaves/ whatever
    5 Leave PA
    530 Reach city hall
    530-630 Dinner
    630 Rehearsal for Finale
700 Walk to republic boulevard (outside Ritz Carlton Hotel, you know the 6 star one)
730 Walk from Republic Boulevard to City Hall
    8 Opening
1030 End and board bus back to PA
11 Reach PA and start to pack all the things for tomorrow.

As you can see we are extremely rushed.
Assuming the rehearsal is 1/2 hour long, WE ONLY HAVE +/- ONE HOUR TO DO ALL OUR MAKEUP WITH THE THICK THICK COAT OF GLITTER

This seems impossible, but i believe if you cooperate and don't talk to one another, it is possible.

I think the Chingay makeup artists take too long with the makeup, so i propose that we do it ourselves. but dan might want the makeup artist to do our makeup so it is not confirmed. I will assign people (most likely the same as the inspire people) tomorrow to do a specific part of the makeup so it will be damn efficient if necessary.

So remember to bring your OWN foundation (and other makeup you need) tomorrow. And hairpins and hairnet. We have gel. Even better still tie your hair during school hours, so you don't have to waste time to your hair.

Also, after the performance, we will only reach PA at 11pm, which is damn late already, so i need everyone to co-operate so that we can leave earlier.
    Things we need to do:
Pack the costumes and shoes and ribbons and fans and props, bring it back to the wearhouse.

therefore NOBODY IS TO REMOVE THEIR MAKEUP UNTIL ALL THE THINGS ARE BACK IN THE WEARHOUSE. ALSO NOBODY IS TO LEAVE UNTIL EVERYBODY HAS FINISHED PACKING

It is extremely unfair if you just throw your things to one side and leave and make me or helen pick it up for you, also it is unfair to people who have been helping with the packing while others are busy removing the disgusting makeup, because those poor people are still wearing their disgusting makeup.

Even if you leave extremely near, eg myself, wait until everybody is done packing and is waiting for the bus and nothing else before you are allowed to go. Also i need the people who are going to leave from there to tell me by 12pm tomorrow.

Hope we can work together and be super fast tmr that we can board the bus back to school by 1130pm. (which is highly idealistic)

LASTLY, i know somebody told you guys that there aren't any free chingay tickets.
    Actually there is.
IN fact i received 40 tickets for friday and 15 tickets for saturday from Ms Koh yesterday (supposedly 1 for each person), but i only realised it at 5pm today(it is my fault and i sincerely apologise for it).So i rushed back to school from my lovely tea at tea party in hopes of finding people to distribute to. After running around for like an hour i managed to give away all the Friday tickets, because if i don't give it to people by today, they will not be able to pass it to their parents/friends (remember our extremely tight schedule), and the ticket will be useless. I passed JIAYI 5 extra tickets, so if you want to ask your friend to watch you perform tomorrow (do you really?gasp!) please approach her.

For the other 15 tickets for Saturday, it will be on the first sms jiayee first serve basis. People who already taken friday tickets are NOT allowed to take anymore saturday tickets.

    Here are the details:
    7pm Pre Parade Teaser
    8pm Parade
    11pm All night party
Location: Padang Field Side B (there is a map on the ticket)
    Free Seating
Ticket Admission from 530pm. Be seated by 7pm.

Okay, finally i have finished what i need to say.oh final reminder for girls. Remember to wear the right bra!Body colour/ transparent bra strap. Or body color leotard.

    ***DO NOTE.
yes, as many of you have asked, the workshop IS held immediately after blocks. (blocks begin on the 17th of march!) physics and arts people shouldn't be affected (unless you're in AEP or something) but BIO PEOPLE will be having their bio paper on the monday of the workshop, 24th feb. :x do take this into consideration when deciding if you wanna go for the workshop. i know it might be only 2 hours a day, but please make sure you can cope before deciding to sign on.

also, some of you have asked if you have to go for the full five days of workshop or whether you can choose the days to go. well, the workshop was arranged by the instructors to be a five-day workshop, so if you don't go for all five days, you might miss out on good stuff that the instructors are intending to teach us over the course of the 5 days. so yup. unless you really really cannot make it, do go for ALL 5 days. :) thanks :P
