HELLO All MADders.
This is calling out to all J1s!
It's ur turn to make a difference, and bring MAD to greater heights.
We j2s old liao, time for us to step down, SIGHHHH...

SO, it's the time of the year when we elect the new EXCO!
17th june - 8.30am

Here are the POSITIONS which u can sign up for!


President/Vice President
In charge of public relations
Goal setters for MAD
Main mode of communication with school admin
Overall discipline and welfare
Quartermasters

Treasurer
Handling of MAD budget
(dance night funds, mad funds etc)
Link to school on monetary issues
(instructor fees etc)

Secretary
Taking of minutes during all exco meetings
Keeping and handling of contacts within and outside of MAD
In charge of IT and designing stuff

Division heads/Assistant division heads
Organise all practices for division (both instructor and self practices)
Leads warm up
In charge of choreography for all performances (can delegate choreography to other division members)
Main mode of communication with instructor
Attendance taking and discpline
Welfare of division
Decision maker for division (taking up performances, when to have practices etc)

Involvement in faculty commitee will be taken into account for the choosing of the new exco.

- We will not be entertaining any latecomers!


Elections procedure

Round 1: Speeches + Voting

All J1s are to report to the main room at 8.30am.
A speech will be required from all running for exco.
All J1s are to be present to listen to these speeches.

Voting will commence after the last speech has been made.
- Those not involved in elections are dismissed after voting.


Round 2: Wacky Intro + Choreography showcase

WACKY INTRO
1. All running for exco will have to bring an object that you think best
represents yourself and explain why. Humour is taken into account =)
2. Show us your hidden talent ( Anything but dance! Eg. Singing, juggling, Acting Cute? ) Impress us!

CHOREOGRAPHY SHOWCASE
A choreography showcase is required for all those running for division heads.
A 1min choreography will be required for people running for hiphop and modern division head/ asst division head. A 30 second choreography will be required for bboy division head/ asst division head.

-Those waiting for their turn in the holding room are not to watch the ongoing showcase.

Round 3: Interview

The interview will commence 1 hour after the choreography showcase.
Do Expect the Unexpected for this segment!



Do think about your reasons for joining exco before running.
WARNING: Don't join exco for superficial reasons such as portfolio, having the 'title' of division head and so on, because then you wldnt have ur heart and soul in it.
You might just end up regretting and of cos drag the entire EXCO and MAD down!
