Music and Dance Society (MAD) first started in 1974 with contemporary dance before diversifying to include other dance genres. At present, it comprises 3 divisions, namely Modern, Hip-hop, and Bboy (or breakdance).

breaking into venues

I know dance night is drawing near and all of us are going all out to practise for our items in order to make SHAKE! an imba one, but please do take note of certain discipline issues as consequences of breaking certain rules are more serious than what you can imagine.

I am quite sure most of us are quite familiar with this issue of BREAKING INTO various venues e.g RUA, salt etc, OR leaving the backdoors of the venues OPEN so as to sneak in to use the places. Once and for all, I shall make it clear again that, please DO NOT, okay, i mean DO NOT ATTEMPT SUCH ACTS AGAIN BECAUSE CONSEQUENCES INCLUDE PERMENANT DEMERIT POINTS, BANNING FROM USING THE VENUES AND EXPULSION. I am not kidding. So please, for MAD's sake, and your OWN sake, stop entering venues through windows/backdoors left open or whatever creative ways you can think of. Venues have been booked for practises and there will be a dance prac schedule given out to everybody soon, so you don't have to worry that there are no places for you to dance!

Hope we won't receive anymore such complaints and jiayou for dance night everybody! (:
