Music and Dance Society (MAD) first started in 1974 with contemporary dance before diversifying to include other dance genres. At present, it comprises 3 divisions, namely Modern, Hip-hop, and Bboy (or breakdance).

Hey pple!!

another first-time-blogger (:

Okay, this is regarding volunteer's fair. It is a little late now to talk about it but we just thought that some of you may want to know why is it that only hiphop and break are participating in it.

Okay firstly, the modern people are involved in the PSC civil service prize ceremony as we all know, that's why they are quite occupied in this period. Another important reason is that we think that modern has somehow gained quite abit of recognisation from SYF, but hiphop and break haven't been given a lot of chance to perform so far, so we thought that it will be a good exposure (within school) for them to perform for volunteer's fair (: BUT no matter what, must still rmb that we are ONE MAD!

Also, for those who are under both break and hiphop, you all can only perform in either one of the items coz we don't want to get you people too taxed, there's still sch work and rmb, PROMOS ARE COMING!! O.O in 3 months time. We understand that the hearts are very willing but the bodies must be able to cope also lah (=

Okayy that's about volunteers' fair. ANW we've seen the dance and it is omgosh-ly imba!! It's like you can see people *gasps* and *omg sooo damn nice!!!* at the side watching. so Yeah good job(: Your efforts of staying back until 7 plus everyday to practise is not wasted! Jiayou for the performance people!! *car horns*

Yeah, to end off with a HAPPY note, the syf performance today was VERY VERY GOOD! At least the 'feel' was back, after like soooo long! Really a great great great thankz to the seniors for helping us for the one last time, we will learn to be more independent after this (: Hope you all have enjoyed yourselves dancing again(together with the bunch of lovely juniors like us, ehem), after 1243973 hours of mugging and blocks. Do remember to come back and visit us once in a while k! :D :D
