Music and Dance Society (MAD) first started in 1974 with contemporary dance before diversifying to include other dance genres. At present, it comprises 3 divisions, namely Modern, Hip-hop, and Bboy (or breakdance).

hello everyone! i was inspired by wad kelvin n clarice posted on their blogs and so, here i am, pinning down my thoughts (AND WELL-WISHES).

i was there at the rehearsal in the audi (with the j2 hiphoppers).
and this was wad i saw.

the bonds between all the dancers..
the chemistry that held all of u together.
the faith everyone had in everyone else. the faith in the dance.
the love for dance. the love for MAD.
THAT common goal. THAT common dream.

it was touching.

after the performance i was.. awed. i was reminded of Touch dance night, where all the above was perfectly (or so i thought) executed. it has been a longgg time, and now, i see it once more. on stage.

i'm not a modern dancer so i hav no rights (to speak of) to comment on how good or bad u all hav done. but i guess what i saw n felt led me to a conclusion.

THE DANCE WAS GOOD. REALLY.

and i'm certain u guys CAN do it. on wednesday.
THAT common goal will no longer be just a dream.
it will be reality.

sooooooooo.. just give it ur best shot!
M.A.D. will always, u know it, ALWAYS be behind u.
i know, it will be good, very good, so good, perfect.
