About Us
Music and Dance Society (MAD) first started in 1974 with contemporary dance before diversifying to include other dance genres. At present, it comprises 3 divisions, namely Modern, Hip-hop, and Bboy (or breakdance).

More updates

I'm slacking today! How fun! =)

Sooo I've decided to update here, just to keep things um, updated!

Open House

This year's Open House is on the 13th Oct, 10am to 2pm.
If I'm not wrong (from the little info gathered from a couple of councillors), we only have to perform once. Which is quite dumb because if people miss our performance, then they won't see anything. We are given 10 mins, but heck lah if we exceed I don't think anyone is going to care.
We're most likely going to do Gabriel, something from break, and Wait a Min, cause we don't have time to come up with another item.
We're going to get a booth like the size of a class bench, the councillor I was talking to suggested a banner or something, and we should think of something to do with the bench to attract people!

Tentative practice dates are 7th Oct, 11th Oct, 12th Oct.

Dance Night

We've got the green light from Ms Chen, so we're going to make plans for a combined Dance Night with Chinese Dance next year. XD More updates after promos.

Showcase

Because we're going to have Dance Night next year, we're going to take in more people. So I think we're going to take in more people at the end of the year, details not confirmed. More updates after promos. We're going to do a showcase to attract people, probably reusing stuff from Open House. The showcase is tentatively on the 25h Oct (2nd last day of school I think)

Tentative dates for practice: 18th Oct, 24th Oct

Block Test Results

I know this is so morbid, to even talk about this so near promos, but Ms Chen wants everybody's block test results. T_T Sms to Serene, she promises to keep them confidential!

Wade Robson Ticket

Wade Robson is coming to Singapore on the 13th Oct. Show's in Esplanade, 9pm, 13th Oct. We've got an extra ticket, anybody wanna go? Sms me if you do.
