yeaa about the 5 of us getting out of the dance, don't get too upset la. as it it might be for the better. ms chen didn't do it out of a fit of anger or anything, it's just the practical decision to make at this point.

ya, as liewqi pointed out, so far we haven't been missing that many practs, and there've been others who've also been absent many times. but precisely because there're already enough people missing practs without the latin people around, we can't afford to risk having even more people being absent.

it's kinda cruel to do this when it's so near to dance night, but this is one of those better-late-than-never things. we could continue to press on like that trying to pia everything, but it might turn out that we have 2 low-quality dances. so take us out now, make sure from now onwards everyone works supersuper hard, and we'll have 2 gooooood dances. so hey, it could be for the better!

i guess the deciding factor was that on Mondays we have latin pract, and now we're adding on Thursdays too, which is the day that ms chen wants full attendance. and as we all know at this stage you can't do without full attendance already. cuz we're doign blocking and fine-tuning. so ya if one of the practs had been on another day we prob still can do la. but weeeelllllll. looks like neither one of the instructors wanna change date. so this is the only thing we can do to ensure good performances lor.

duno abt the rest, but for me, better dance with everyone else for these few mths and get kicked out later than not be in the dance at all. at least we had that period of time to interact and stuff. now we just have to get more focused and rmb that whatever happens, it's all for dance night la.

1 mth left. 4 weeks, prob around 6 practs (must rmb we still have to do fulldressrehearsals).
